Could I ask you a favor? If you’re open to this idea, I have a gift I’d like you to give the business owners you know, and that will benefit them enormously. Over the years I’m sure you have got to know the owners of many different businesses (or your friends may even be business owners).

What you may not realize is that a lot of them may be spending a fortune on advertising and getting little to nothing back in return.

I’m always surprised when I discover that so many hard working business owners are wasting their money on things like the Yellow Pages or websites that were never set up properly to make any real difference to their sales and profits. So many of them have paid to have websites (sometimes over $10k) set up but were never really taught how to use them effectively, and then their sites just sit there with no visitors or serve no real purpose other than being an electronic business card. It’s like they paid thousands of dollars for a business sign that got left covered up in the basement!

Anyway the point I’m getting at is that for the past few years I’ve been religiously studying, in depth, the ways that small business owners can effectively use the internet, and some simple applications as powerful tools, to market their business and get their existing (and new) local real customers in the door more often.

What I’d like to do is give the business owners you know a free gift internet marketing consultation on your behalf. I’ll speak to these owners about their internet marketing and give them some helpful ideas and suggestions completely free. If they have a website already, I’ll even give them a critique on ways that they can improve it.

For a limited time we are offering a free consultation worth over $250.

A consultation like this would normally be around $250 and the website critique would normally be anywhere from $100 – $500, but I will do it for free simply to have you introduce me or tell them about me. After the initial consultation, it’s up to them. They can implement the ideas themselves or they could hire me to do it for them. Either way they get a valuable consultation that’s worth real money to them as a gift and you get to be the person who lined up that valuable gift for them.

I’d really appreciate if you could help me out, and in return I can help your friends who have businesses. Again they really don’t have anything to lose since it is a free consultation. I’ll keep you in the loop with any referrals you send me.

P.S. I’m not really a “sales” type person and you can be comfortable that my purpose is not to go in with some hyped up sales pitch just to make a quick buck. While I’ll be casual and laid back with the business owners you send me to talk to, the information I give them will be of very real value to them and I’m really looking to build ongoing business relationships.
